Went with the inlaws tongiht to watch the movie Marley and Me. Great movie, wasnt hardly a dry eye in the house when it was over with. If youve ever loved a dog, this is a must see.

Can't deal with sad doggy movies. Benji movies tear me all to pieces - there is always some evil guy smacking Benji with a baseball bat or something.

wife and i hit it up tonight. reminded me of a horor flick, i spent most of the movie wondering why these people didn't have a gun. if that dog did that crap in KY and the owners wouldn't shoot it a nieghbors surely would. 1 hour and 50 minutes with a hotty and not 1 single booby shot. 2 thumbs down IMO. want a good doggy tear jerker better stick with "where the red fern grows", but me and marly suck.

Oh man I can't think of the movie title, but it had a little white and yellow looking wire haired Terrier in it...Tough little dog as there ever was one..... Great movie...The wife wants to go see this movie, but when I tell her that it's sad at the end...Takes care of that, going to the movie...I tell ya, plain out right robbery to go to the movies these days.....

2 hour movie Costs at the Theater:

20.00 or more for snacks and drinks...if your lucky....
Sit in sometimes sticky un-noticed goo or sticky substance on the floor with shoes.....
several missed scenes...Taking a restroom break....
Miss hearing something good, due to people talking when they shouldn't...
Drive back home....

I guess people that tolerate horrible dogs or cant train one think
that stuff is awesome story material.
I dont get it...Dogs like that shouldnt be shot, but they sure as heck
need some better owners.
There are no bad dogs...only bad owners.

I disagree with that statement. Seen some hopeless dogs out there that must of been inbred too much.

Red Box my brother, Red Box. Those little movie rental kiosk are putting a hurt on Block Buster and other rental places. 1.00 a night and can get online, check whats out and reserve them, and can return them at a different location. Wished I had invested in this back when I first heard of it. But the movies are the still the way to see some movies. Just cant get the effect at home like you do at some of these new theatres. Tickets are just 6.00 at the Danville theatre, 4.50 matinee. And the popcorn, man I know its marked up like a 1000% but just something about movie popcorn, theres been a many times Ive gone in to a theatre just to buy a tub of popcorn and take it home.

Dudes I got one of the best surround sound systems with a sub woofer and all in my basement and believe me....A Cinema ain't got squat on me and my basement for watching movies on my big 60" Big Screen TV...... I'll take my basement over a movie theatre any day of the week......:):D:)

I agree with u on most of this. Go eat before u go to the movie or sneak in some snacks and drinks. Always go use the restroom before u go in the movie regardless if you have to go. Oh and the movie for 2 was $18.

What do u do if u have a girlfriend that continues to nag about wanting to see a movie and keeps complaining that we havent been on a date in forever and there is nothing else to do other than to go to the movies?

Granted I love watching movies at home as well, but you cant compare 60" to a movie theatre screen and surround sound for movies like Star Wars, Dark Knight, 300, etc... And then theres IMAX, if youve never seen a movie in IMAX theatre, you need to go watch one. Has anyone tried the Movie Tavern in Lexington?

Well even after all my guided info for you all about the cost of going vs staying at home...Looks like the wife is going to drag me to see this movie with her...She says she doesn't want to cry by herself...I told her to take a girlfriend and you could cry on each other's shoulders or somethin.....

Oh well, at least it isn't Sat. or Sun. when the football games will be on......I told her that was "MAN" time and I ain't miss'n no football games for her silly movie's......
