Well we shipped 5 boxes to our grandson over in Iraq on the first of December. In IM's with him we ask everytime if he got those boxes. He kept saying no not yet. Well yesterday I had a notice in the mailbox that I had a package at the post office. There was not one package but 3...the same packages we sent out Dec 1. His mom called and she had got back the two she had sent. So our Soldier got no Christmas packages...In IM's with him late yesterday we found out the Army had sent him to another Camp at Taji not Tillil where he first went when he got there. For some reason the Army didn't forward his packages to his new address. So he will be getting late Christmas packages this year. I sure hated for him to be so far from home his first Christmas away and no gift's.
You better believe I will be at the post office first thing in the morning reshipping those packages to the new address.
Funny since he didn't get packages he ask me to tell him what was in them....I gave in and told him the things I could remember...He was ok with all the problems and now will haunt the base post office till those packages get there in a few days.

this post reminded me of a song that we sang at a camp that i went to when i was in the 5th grade. If your team was late to any meal, the rest of the campers sang this song to you.....Better late than never, better never late. Better late than never, better never late. Your late, Your late and your uuuuuuggggly. haha, good times. but hey im glad that he is doing good over there. let him know that we are praying for him and his conrads. Merry Christmas!!!!!
