I stocked up months ago at Sportsman's Warehouse in Lexington. There was a shortage back then too. It seemed like every time I needed primers everyone was out of them. I got lucky one day and was there as they were stocking the shelves and bought every box they had. I think I paid a little over $20.00 per thousand primers.

Good luck finding ANY reloading components, they just aren't to be found. I have been trying to buy a bag of .243 brass at Sportsmans for 2 months and they have never even had a shipment come in. I started looking just after gun season at Cabelas & Midway for brass, bullets and primers, they are all on back order and no one I talk to can give me any info on when they may get some. I guess everyone is in the panic mode since Barry O' got elected. Don't look for it to get any better over the next couple of years.

Not too long ago, I ordered more several kegs of powder-1 for each type, large rifle, and large pistol magnum primers, so I havn't tried to order any primers or powder in the last couple years. It helps to buy primers by the 5,000 case, and powder by the 8 pound keg when ordering.I learned some time ago to order in bulk in order to not only save on purchase price, but also on shipping price. Also, and really the main reason, is that when you order in bulk, you're assured of getting all the same lot number-very important when trying for extreme accuracy or when loads are close to pressure limits.
