Could anyone tell me who makes the Redhead Pursuit Scopes? Anyone had any experience with these? I know these are kinda cheap but would they be worth the money to mount on a .22? I know you get what you pay for but my daughter has taken an interest in hunting and I would like to get build her confidence in shooting through a scope. She has shot my scoped .270 but doesn't care for the kick. Any opinions welcome. Thanks in advance guys.

Go on the Bass pro website and read their reviews for the scope you want. They are pretty honest and you can see what kind of problems people have out of them if any. Also I would go to Bass pro and look through one before I bought one. but thats just me. I too have thought about those scopes from time to time. I have no idea who makes them!

I've always taught my kids to shot with sights not scopes, I just think they should learn the fundamentals first. Thats just me, in no way means you are wrong.

I think their is an art to both! But I too think it is better to be able to shoot open sights than with a scope. anyone can put the crosshairs on something ene those idiots in the movies! But someone who can take a great shot with open sights at over 50 yards will make a true marksmen with a scope!
