Does anyone use the tree lounge tree stand? I've heard a lot about them and I myself am interested in purchasing the tree lounge. Are they as comfortable as they say, and is it easy to climb with? Also does anyone have one for sale?

I tried one a friend owned. Didn't care for it for bowhunting, just felt uncomfortable standing near four foot out from the tree an it was difficult to get into a standing position from the reclineing one with bow in hand. Maybe I was doing it all wrong [:)]. Also I like to have the tree as background when in a stand not standing out so far. I would say for firearms hunting it would be great where movement would be less. Might have a hard time staying awake if you had a rough night before tho..[:D]

used a lounge about 2yr. ago, didnt like it much, to heavy, to bulky, and to far from the tree for my liking, i have gone with API grand slam bowhunter stand, and absoulte love it, have a link but dont think i should put it on here and its at a very, very good price, u can e-mail me and i'll send it to u if u like.

I had a guy tell me over the weekend that the bar that runs behind your knees when your sitting makes his legs go to sleep. Just what I heard!!!
I have one & I like it pretty well when I don't have to carry it in, then hunt with it, & then carry it out all in the same day. Luck for me, most of the places I hunt not many others hunt.

Mule skinner loves the tree lounge (maybe the question is are your afraid of heights and like to hug trees)
I opted to try the api super star closer to tree and the bar you use to climb folds down out of your way for archery and converts into an excellent gun stand aswell with another bar acting as either foot rest or gun rest. Only 229 at discounttreestand.com

Shogan: I've had both a tree lounge and the super star. the super star blows the tree lounge away. Although I did take my foot rest off of the seat and mounted it to the platform with an extension. COMFORTABLE!![8D]
