I finally got the catalog in the mail and I can't wait to get my order placed. Problem is I don't know if I want to go with the new
Model 11 Remington or the L. C. Smith Double Hammerless. With the 50% off coupon I can get the Model 11 for just a little
more than the double barrel? Thoughts?

Those old sears catalogs were huge, made good TP too (from what I hear).

I'll tell you this from experience.

Get the L.C. Smith but pay now for the extra's. If you have to save for another 4 months it's worth the pride to spring for the $2.25 engraving.:)

Uncle Delbert died in a mule accident back in '42. Unfortunately, he still delivers the mail. Boy, is he slow!

Ones I used in the fifties were so slick it smeared it all the way up the back.

Sounds like operator error and bad technique to me.

I love old magazines! Ive got some great American Riflemans from the 40s and 50s wow wish I could bring back the times. Forget all the electronics and gadgets . Just let me keep my guns and take me back!! Back to the fiftys tonight like Ronnie Milsap sings.
