...had it a few months but just now got to shoot it. 700 LTR 308, I had some 700 bases, and an extra set of rings lying around, so i bought a crappy barska mildot scope just so I could shoot the rifle. Took it out today in the nice weather;) and it shot AMAZING. With federal power shock 180 grns anywhere from 1/2"-1" with no wind...when a gust came along it opened up some. I couldn't believe it. Now I can't wait to get stuff for the rifle. I've ordered badger ordnance 20moa base and 30mm rings, and am almost ready to get a nightforce scope...then with handloads we will see what the gun can really do:D

excellent rifle. I have a friend who shoots long range and he and his brother shoot 308 and 223 and 338 lapuas . they showed me a scope called a supersniper Its an awsesome piece of glass that he says he likes better than the night force or luepolds and schmidt and benders that he has shot and owned. and Its only about 350-550 depending on the model. Its what the seals and rangers are using right now overseas. Just thought Id let you know so you could give it a look.

for the money the super snipers are hard to beat. they're fixed power scopes. 10x, 16x, and 20x with 42 mm objectives and have 30 mm tubes. all three can hold up to .50 cal recoil. becareful because there are fakes out there. you can check them out here. . . http://www.swfa.com/c-231-super-sniper-rifle-scopes.aspx

Yep that was me!!! So did you get that ML sighted in good? Hope you get a deer with it!
If there is a scope out there, I've looked at them...the supersnipers are very nice for the money, but doesn't have what I'm looking for and I don't want a fixed power even though I will rarely adjust it. I mainly don't want a scope that has MOA adjustments when I am using a mildot scope...kind of pointless, except if you feel like doing all that math in your head or can keep a mildot master on you at all times and have the time to check it for everyshot
