Got this in an email today. They've extended it until tomorrow.
Subject: FREE Quail Plate

Folks,
Thanks so much for those of you that sponsored the establishment of the quail specialty license plate. Unfortunately, many plates went unsponsored. Quail Unlimited is trying to get as many of license plates on the road as possible, because they paid for 900 plates. To date, only 300 or so are on the road.
In the spirit of the giving season, QU is waiving the $28 fee to purchase the plate up to their 900 total. If you would like a plate, please send me the following your name, address, and county by noon Wednesday. Once you get your card in the mail directing you to your county office, please pay the remaining $16 (covers supporting the effort and the transaction fee). Keep in mind that I cannot guarantee you a free plate if you respond. If you have any questions, please let me know. Happy holidays!!
