What is everyone getting their wives? Curious if anyone has even pondered it yet. I always have the best intentions but always seem to wait till almost too late. Ladies be sure to give any advice on what would be a great gift idea. Cant wait to see what unfolds here.

I may not get my wife anything this year. She didn't even use the gift I got her last year. Maybe the cemetery plot was a little over the top.:)

The big gift that my wife will be getting this year is a new set of Nike irons. She got me hooked on playing golf last year and she is in desperate need of new irons. I cannot wait to see her reaction.

The wife and I both decided not to get gifts for each other this year. Instead we are taking the money for each other as well as well as 1/3 we were planning on spending on the kids and buying gifts for the Buckhorn Childrens Home Orphanage. We thought it would be good to teach our 2 year old that Christmas is not about getting but more about helping others that are in need. I told some folks in my church as well as some other friends and family and they jumped right on board and the response has been great than I imagined. I think we are going to be able to fill every item on the list. It has been more rewarding to me than any gift I could get or give to my wife to be used a few times and then start dust collection.

Don't know yet but I can only imagine it will have a "Coach" or "Dooney and Bourke" tag on it.
How many purses does a woman need? I'll never understand the $300 purse and the $200 wallet that goes in it so you can carry $3 in it.

Since we are getting married almost a week after Christmas this year we aren't really getting each other anything...except Jeff Dunham tickets in February in Lexington. It will be great...from then on I can combine anniversary and Christmas!!!:D

Ah...Man Rule ? .... Never ever go along with her idea of don't buy me anything for X-Mas, Anniversary, Birthday, etc....You'll be in the dog house for sure man..... Always and I mean always buy her something to open on these days, you'll learn it will pay in the long run.... By the way no such thing as combining Anniversary and X-Mas.....See example above of where it will place you, if you do such a thing......

Most men could care less if they get anything at all, as long as everyone else is happy and content...we'll be fine and dandy.... Believe me on this one.....

I'm thinking a victoria secret gift card. But it will have to have a clause in it stating she cant use it on lotions and smell gud crap. Only on the good stuff.

Remember this guys, "if mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy."

Those purses are one that skips me as well, but I can consider it a fair trade for all the things that I am allowed to buy that she doesn't give me crap about. I will gladly trade a $300 purse once or twice a year for her allowing me to purchase that big red machine that is sitting in the barn.
