I'm surfing the net. Learning a little about waterfowl hunting, trapping, christmas shopping/list making.

No plans for the entire day. I would like to get out but the weather sucks.

Same here. They are watching something stupid on TV. I am doing an ariel view at a piece of propert I saw for sale. Trying to compare size to the house and land I already own. It's for sale by an individual but cannot get a response by phone. Might just sell this place and move. Tired of having to travel so far to anything. 20 miles here, 20 miles there. blah,blah,blah.

I just got finished grinding some venison from a doe I shot earlier in the week. Couldn't wait to try a little so I made a pot of chili, its on the stove now. Then sat down here to make my 100th post. Its been a pretty good day so far.

went bowhuntin this morning, my buddy took a nice archery longbeard and I narrowly missed the opportunity to make it a double. just couldn't get one to stop where I needed him to.

Ducks and Geese. I just cant call worth a darn. If someone would have been along this morning to call there would have been plenty of shooting. I opted to leave the calls in the bag and risk a flyin to the decoys. One lone Mallard drake committed, and then committed again...suicide that is;) The geese crested the ridge 1/2 mile out, locked up and came straight in. I shot my 2 and bailed. The ducks fly early here. If you don't get your shots in by 8 or 830 its a bust on ducks. The geese start flying around 9. That works out pretty well.

Well, since I can hardly fit in my camos anymore and haven't ran or lifted a lick since July, I'm going back on a diet and back to the gym. It sure is fun GETTING fat and out of shape but sucks when you finally ARRIVE there:D.................

Been getting my muzzleloader ready also....fired a few shots, everything appears to be good. Just got through cleaning it ... only thing I'm not real fond of but it does seem easier than cleaning some of my old side locks.

Been batteling a heck of a cold for the last week. Had'nt even been in the woods since modern gun closed. Hopefully I'm on the recovery side and can do a little bowhunting next week... before some cat hunting next weekend.

Cristmas trees & decorations went up yesterday... glad to get that out of the way....and yes trees was plural. My wife & youngun each have a tree to be put up. What can I say... I live with two females who really..really love christmas. Sometimes you cant tell which ones the oldest.:D
