I hope after everyones success this season we can see some good pics posted. Here are some tips for taking some good ones.
1. Take a camera with you, a bird that has been carried out in a vest, then blown around the back of a truck just dosen't look the same. you can also get some great background, creek, dogwoods, cabin ect.
2. Have the sun to your back, and use the flash, it really makes the colors in the bird stand out.
3. when you shoot don't go jump on the bird, let him flop, most all of his feathers will be in place.
4. clean any blood and take some time to smooth out the feathers.
The way I see it once the hunt is over, the bird is cleaned, the picture is all have left. hope to see some good ones over the next few weeks.
