Where around Lexington can I go to sight in a new muzzleloader I just bought? The place where I hunt is relatively small in size and I'd rather not go there and do a lot of shooting this close to the season.

Hey Ross, look on the General Hunting or Cyberhunters Public Forum areas and look for a guy by the name of gsp. He has something to do with Bluegrass Sportsmans League. He may be able to help you out.

Hey Ross, the Blue Grass Sportsmans League is located down at Wilmore.
It's a private club, but well worth joining. Do you have any kids? Or can you borrow one? Why I ask is, we are have a youth day next weekend and these are open events. We want kids shooting! If by chance you are interested, drop me a line.

BTW, were you in a dove field off Beaumont this afternoon? I meet a guy there with the last name Ross?

Thanks for the suggestions. I do have three boys, who enjoy just being out in the woods, as well as shooting and archery. So maybe the Sportsmans League is what we ought to do - I've thought about it in the past but not quite got as far as signing up.

No, I wasn't at the dove field. My first name is Ross.

Thanks again.

GSP: this sounds terrific and I'd love to take you up on it. We are overscheduled this fall though: two of the the three boys have a total of four soccer games this weekend AND we are supposed to do a Cub Scout trip too. Of course with rains from hurricane Lili coming our way I don't know for sure if we'll do any of that! Still want to do the League when possible, rest assured.
