.25 acp?

Anyone have one or had one? Was thinking of getting a Taurus Model 25 for a back up gun. If you haven't seen one they are alot like a Beretta tomcat/bobcat. Something small enough to wear on the ankel! Checked out the Kel-Tech's they are too small!

If you shot someone with that .25acp, and they found out about it, they'd probably be pretty p.o.'d.

I've got a Bauer .25. It'll shoot through a 2x4 every now and then and keyhole the bullets about an inch in other times. I never carry it because it's not big enough, but the round is inherently pretty accurate, and much more reliable in a little auto like that than .22 LR, so it at least has that going for it. I did kill a wounded coyote with it one time with a single shot, if that counts for anything.

I much prefer a Kel-Tec p32 for a pocket pistol, but to each his own.

I know its all personal preference, but I don't think that is an adequate self defense round.

I had a Taurus and sold it try the trigger it SUCKS. You won't hit anything with it. I bought the Beretta model and like it much better. It would not be my first choice for concealed carry, but it is easy to carry with shorts and is fairly accurate.

Whatever you decide-PLEASE do yourself a HUGE favor and go with a .380 or even a .32acp. I used to have a buddy back in the 70s that worked at the louisville jail and was shot 5 times ALL in middle of chest with 1. He lived but when you think about he was 1/3 my size,it just goes to show AGAIN how underpowered the .25 acp is.

Yea I alredy got a .32 S&W Long Revolver with a 2 1/2" barrel. I figure I'll stick with it! I like that Beretta Tomcat too, so if I decide to get a small semi auto Thats what I'll get probably.
