in my years of turkey hunting i find the best days are
the morning after an overnight thunderstorm, or a chilly morning that warms into the upper 60's by afternoon....
but there have always been the days i didnt think were going to be worth going only to end up being a super day and vice versa...

I like warm weather but for a crazy reason! You see, I always get to shakin when that big ol gobbler starts gettin close. When it's cold the shakin gets even worse. Same goes for deer hunting, it can be a doe or a big ol buck, the shakes'll be on their way as soon as I see movement!

If the bird wants to gobble he will! Just returned from Texas where the road dept was out in full force pushing hail from an overnight storm, one of the best days there.
