we can shoot canadians on Thanksgiving:D. I hunt in the pennyroyal/coalfield zone and usually you can't shoot a goose until Dec. 13 (I think). Am I reading this years guide right, we can start whackin'em on the Nov. 23 right?

Yup. Goose starts Nov. 23 and duck start on Thanksgiving.

You are correct. Noticed that myself this year as wll and has me pumped, but I do have to say, I will be hitting those ducks as hard as I can and if geese present themselve, well that is just a bonus.

I am still fairly new to duck hunting and the last two years we have had a split season. Opening up on Thanksgiving and then closing for a couple of weeks. It looks as though it opens on the same day and stays in till Jan. 25??? Just wanting to double check??
