Migration confirmed by Genius this morning! Several Sprigs, Mallards, Gray ducks, and Bald Pates moving into what little water we have. Highest numbers seen were Sprigs and Mallards. Lost our woodies on Thursday! Once again our duck hunting season opens two weeks late!

Lost our woodies on Thursday!
This is probably a good thing: "Please consult a physician for a woodie that lasts more than four hours."

Major movement again today. I can't see most of these birds sticking around for another two weeks. I know its probably not the case but it seems like this happens every year.

Here is something to consider......Did you know that we could have a 5 to 7 day duck season between Halloween and Deer Gun Season? We would get to blast these early easy to decoy and call birds. Genius says we can get it if we make enough noise. If you don't beleve me ask BM Barrelcooker he knows the whole story!
