I will have my back to the sun.Hopefully a ten mph southerly wind with 27 degree temps.Watching the phragmites sway in the breeze waiting on them clouds of greenwingers and mallets.Cypress Creek bottoms at it's finest.

 I have to be at the in-laws for the whole thanksgiving weekend.

I need somebody to watch my place and would be willing to let someone hunt a little if they could keep the poachers out. Just shoot me a PM.

I'll be eating turkey in New Jersey on opening day. I sure hope you guys have a good one!

B.M., sounds like with all the poachers it may take more than one to take care of it.
I'd be glad to keep the Ducks off ya while you deal with the banjo pickin poachers!

Did a little clearing on the back forty today. It is kinda wet but needs some rain. Tyrone got carried away with the chainsaw and we ended up doubling the size of the hole and cut down all the big trees to the northeast to make a nice little southwesterly approach over the buckbrush for ducks on the 9-27 glidepath. That place is probably my favorite spot even though we only get the energy and courage up to hunt it about twice a year.

Ohio River like the rest of us crazy Northern Kentucky duck hunters. Seems like we are the only part of the entire country that isn't in a flyway...but we still keep going. Or...if the ducks aren't around...I'll be in the treestand looking for a deer with a bow. Chris.
