While I was working on my boat, I was wondering if any of you all with boats have any suggestions about this boat of mine. What would you have done differently when you did yours? Would you add anything? Would you leave anything out that you included before?
As I get further along, I will post photos to see if there are any suggestions. Let me know.

Hey Fur & Feather,
There is a pretty helpful website at http://www.dusckboats.net that has blinds and boats that different people have built. I'm gettting ready to start on the same project myself as soon as I can come up with an old trailer.

I have been to that page a few times. There are many different types of boats there that their forum participants have posted from all over the country. It has been a real help thus far. I am in the camo process still. The boat is over 18' long, so I have some room for ideas. Already have Avery Quickset blind, dog ramp, tree bracket, push pole and marsh foot, camo seats, camo rope, stencils, paint paint paint, motor cover, sliding seat bracket, and a few odds and ends. I was thinking of building a flip top gun box with latch behind the center bench of a three bench boat. It would help to keep the guns secure and dry while under motor. Let me know how your boat is coming along.

Not on your life. We have had that sucker in our family since I was pocket sized myself. It has been through everything from Lake Superior to the Gulf of Mexico, and is still holding up well. It is like a sister to me. And if you've seen some of my family, probably better looking since the paint job.
