I suspect a lot of Dems would like to see Lunsford beat McConnell, then next election run a better Dem against Lunsford in the primary and put Lunsford out. Both Mitch and Lunsford are equally yucky to a lot of people, I'm thinking. But I bet Mitch will keep his seat.

Since there are no term limits, it is not a level playing field.

Even the diehard liberals that I work with think that it would be cutting your nose off just to spite your face to vote someone as powerful as McConnell out just to get a freshman Democrat in the seat.

I have to agree with ya Quacker but how many times have you seen posters on here want term limit's, yet will vote to keep the same guy in office term after term ? Just a question not tryng to start a argument....:D
