Checking out todays paper and it stated the stats so far for this year.
18,870 Deer Checked as of last week.
8,195 - By Black Powder
7,259 - By Archers
755 - By Crossbow
HMMMM. Doesn't look like the Crossbows are wiping out the deer herd like many told us they would.
I guess if Crossbows could have began hunting Sept 1st maybe they would have reached a 1,000 by now. :)
