Went for a ride in the (Ga) mountains with a few friends this am. Here's a pic of one of the back tires...he was hangin' it out pretty good today.
The Dunlops on my scoot gave up on me, talk about a pucker moment! Going to replace them with some Metzlers next week.

You guys riding on sandpaper down there?:D Those must be a race compound to wear like that on a road ride. Either that or this guy was flying a little too close to the flame on public roads, if you know what I mean.

I had a pucker moment myself this morning. I was making a hard left turn on a very uneven, sloped road when my boot got caught between the peg and the road. Silly mistake,Doh!

Yup, I think that's a Pirelli Super Corsa, a pretty soft & sticky tire. We were riding some good back roads long before anyone was up this morning. On the way back down the mountain we met the 'early' grups heading up.
It's been a couple of years since I've been on that particular route & got me ready for another track day or two. I think we are going to put one together at little Talladega for May. Gotta get the VIFFER track ready & loose some weight off her first. The center stand will be the first victim...

I've got the Pirelli Dragon Supercorsa Pro's. They are a nice tire. I can't believe you've got a center stand on that VFR!:D That must go!

Guys them sticky road race tires are no fun. Go get you a Tera Flex Knobby and go road racing. THAT is some fun ! :p :D
