I always hear pros cluck or even damn near putt to extend the head of ol' swolen Tom but if you want to cut, I would say that you are gonna make him strut if anything.

If you want him to come out of strut and stick his head up, wait til he gets to where you want him and just whistle. Just like a deer, he will stop and want to know what it was that he just heard, but by then it should be to late.

i have seen some say "Hey Turkey" up pops the head and BOOOOM
i perfer to use the Cutt....always seems to work for me and i am sure i am not the only one to admit i have shot them in the head still in full strut at distances like 20-under...have yet to have one walk away in all my years...BUT the next could be my first

I puck real loud, as one would do alarm putting. If a bird get's to close, i alarm putt at him to back him up to where my pattern is better[:I][:D]

"hey" usually does it for me. Then there was a group of jakes milling around me that I wanted to move off--I wound up carrying on a running conversation with them that seemed like five minutes.
