The scouting has been done, work schedule taken care of and my boy decided he does not want to go! Best of luck to all and be safe.

Steve,
I hope all is not lost yet. My youngest was timid the first time deer hunting I found out because we were going to get in the woods in the dark. So we slept in a little later (than I would have) but he was cool with hunting after we got to see some critters. I always take them out for breakfast (just one on one) after.

I'll be taking the young man that I called his first one in last year. He doesn't know it yet, but he's going to be making the decisions, and I'll let him know if he's right or wrong. On turkey hunting, experience is the best teacher, and they learn it best by doing. I really enjoyed last year's pur excitement, but I'm really looking forward to seeing the wheels turning in his head.

I am going to be taken my son which is 8years old for the first time this weekend. He had won a half of day hunt at Deer Creek Outfitters in Webster County. All I can say is, you had best bundle them up, its going to be 22 degrees here in Webster County on saturday. Oh well good luck to all the little ones and have fun.

Things are looking good for us in the morning, put 4 long beards to bed tonight, all within 70 yards of each other. Should prove to be a very good morning.
