Since punchcutters are not made anymore, which mechanical broadheads do u suggest. I saw several from another thread, and I've been doing a lot of research on the internet. The thing I loved about punchcutters was that they looked exactly like a field tip when shot, and I didn't have to worry about them planing or tuning them in, they flew just like the fieldtip. I like the look of the NAP spitfires, Vortex, wasp, and rocket aeroheads. Thanks.

I dont use mechanicals myself. However, a friend uses bloodtrailers and reports that they fly like fieldtips and have no exposed blades untill contact. Just for thought

I shoot the rockets, and I assure you they Fly just like a feild tip.(I'm not saying they are the only ones that do.) No need in tuning screw them in and go hunting. Just sharing what has worked for me.

I also use rockets 75s. They are great. Killed two deer last year with them. That was the first year using them.

I've changed brands of bows, treestands, releases, sights, arrows etc. a time or two over the last 15 years but my broadhead of choice remains the same........Rockets.

although I dont shoot mechanicals anymore, i can tell you this.
STAY AWAY FROM PUCKETTS BLOODTRAILERS.
They have a round tip, not a chiseled tip, and are worthless on anything but squirrels. I lost several deer, before it donned on my hard head that they sucked.
