I'm curious...has peta ever protested Orkin or Terminix for poisoning bugs? Someone ought to give them that idea. The sensless slaughter of billions of innocent roaches HAS GOT TO STOP!

We have to concentrate on the 80% of folks that cares
neither for/nor against hunting. Stupid stunts as this alienates
the moms whose child brought home a bloody chicken head in a bucket.
Mom is probably serving MEAT for supper. This is a good reminder that we
as hunters need to do our part and not offend mom (with a carload of kids)
while we transport our deer. We need that 80% on our side.

THAT IS FUNNY I hope people will see what kind of whack jobs they are.....it's a chicken people....not your child or any other humans child....a chicken
I agree w/gsp though we do need the other 80%, everyone know PETA is a bunch of deranged freaks.
But it is funny

PETA has been after the chicken industry for awhile now. To us the stunts they come up with seem far out. However it never ceases to amaze me how people think regarding these things. I don't know what they would be doing if we still wrung chickens necks and let them flop all over the back yard. For the good of our sport we need to be aware of peoples sensibilities.

I got an Idea.....lets stick them in the head with a pin to penetrate their brain and then they wont feel a thing. After we break their legs and stuff, and scald them in hot water, maybe they will shut up so we can get back to the chickens.

Good point ; IF that 80% decides they are AGAINST us, were all but "done" and that isn't a good thing for us or the game we pursue(if only "they" would understand the good we do out there) [:)]

I also agree, that it's a good idea to think about how we transport our game from the field, (remember in the hunter's ed video where they had it(deer) on the truck hood and pulled right up behind a school bus full of kids?????) Not a good thing for our sport!!!

While living and hunting in Florida, PETA got the bright idea of walking through the woods with pots and pans and beating on them with spoons to disturb the hunters(which was illegal), and we shot more deer that year because they were drivers and we reaped the rewards. They were extremely useful until they figured out what was going on and the State started fining them.

Taking critters one shot at a time the Encore way.

My wife, my son, and I went to the circus in Knoxville on Wed. As we were walking toward the coliseum, a woman ask us if we wanted some info. about the circus. She was kind of dressed like she worked with the circus, so I took the flyer and put it in my pocket. I decided to look at it when we were standing in line. It was from peta. I told how cruel these animals were treated in the circus. If I would have known this is what she was doing, I would have showed her the picture of the gobbler I killed this year. I would have liked to heard her comments on that. These people must be bored to tears to stand out and hand out this info.
