I just lowered the price of gas at my store to $3.19 this am. We are expecting major drops in the next few days. I'm predicting prices in the $2.50ish level by Thanksgiving.

Someone the other day was singing his praises for handing out hundred-dollar bills on the street every once in a while. I told them to look at the prices on all of those gas pumps on 27 - it was plain to see where the hundred dollar bills were coming from.

When is it going to break the $3 barrier in Murray? It is $3.09 this morning and has been below $3 everywhere else since the end of last week. It's even below $3 in Paris, TN with higher fuel taxes.
They seem to love keeping it high to pinch the college kids and tourists.

Murphy's USA sets the price in Murray and until they make the change, nobody will. Heck, Mayfield is a few cents higher than Murray is.

Murphy's sets the price?
What happened to "we only make about 3 cents off of a gallon of gas"? ;)
It's high in Mayfield because one person pretty well runs the entire show over there, or at least they did when I lived there.

Uh, "we only make about 3 cents off of a gallon of gas" because Murphy's sets the price.:D
There is no Murphy's in Mayfield, therefore you have to look at everybody. I'd say my store, Cheers and Raceway pretty much set the price in Mayfield. I did notice on Gasbuddy that Mayfield is actually a little cheaper than Murray now. I'm on a couple days off and haven't called to see where we are at, so that was a surprise.
