I am on another forum(ar15.com) quite a bit and have been reading different posts on what people think about the outcome will be if obama gets elected in Nov. Some people seem to think we will be fine, mainly because of Heller vs DC outcome. If anything is tried then it will completely go against that rulling. I feel different about it, know obamas "love" for firearms..and U.N. And we all know how the u.n. feels about guns. I think if he gets elected, first will come registration, then bans on this and that, then who the heck knows...

no one is going to care about gun laws with economical challenges like we have today. there are more house lovers then there are gun lovers, and there are more people losing homes then there are losing guns. as gun lovers we're a minority. we do have the constitution on our side and it will stick. obama doesn't want to take your guns and niether does mccain, they have bigger worries as our next president.

NO...he believes in our 2nd amendment rights:rolleyes: And there are PLENTY of people that care, yes we have some big problems other than this, but to many this is a major problem. While the economy is doing crappy right now, my situation is great.

The Brady bunch, the AHSA, Gun Control Inc., et.al., will care plenty regardless of where the Dow closed on any particular day.

We gun sycophants prefer the phrase gun nuts. "Gun lovers" sounds a bit gay. ;)

we do have the constitution on our side and it will stick.

Unfortunately, using the constitution as a basis for arguing a point doesn't seem to get one very far with the .gov these days, recent SCOTUS decisions notwithstanding.

Don't believe everything you read in your union newsletter... or hear from The Chosen One's mouth. Take five minutes to review BHO's voting history and public statements concerning guns (http://www.nraila.org/OBAMA/) then come back and state that with a straight face.

But, back to the "house lovers" and "gun lovers". I guess you could call me an "unborn baby lover". Sure, I'm for putting food on my table just as much as anybody else. I'm just not willing to sell my soul to do it.

Obama wont do much of anything to "take" our guns. He is just a big mouthed politician who says what he thinks is best to please his party and gain votes. When it comes down to it, there will be too much opposition to gun control measures. Besides there are more pressing issues to deal with (the economy, the war, international relations).

It appears to me that there are a few posters on here that have been drinking too much of the liberal, anti-gun, pro-abortion cool-aid.

YEP!! If someone can't trust me with a right, how can I trust them with a choice

NO:rolleyes:, he won't do anything, too much opposition...from who? I guess all those people that opposed Klintons gun ban?

Manzanita....you can call me a gun lover, gun nut, whatever...there are a couple of guns that I do have a slight love for:D

Hmmm. You're probably right about that. heh.

And there's a rose, in a fisted glove
And the eagle flies, with the dove
And if you can't be, with the gun you love
Love the gun you're with

Talk about naive.

We won the Supreme Court ruling by ONE SINGLE VOTE.

Obama gets in and gets a chance at maybe putting in 1 or 2 new Justices and someone brings up another Second Amendment case and we could LOSE by ONE SINGLE VOTE. It is that simple.

Newsflash. The 2nd amendment has nothing to do with hunting.

As BadDuck says, "the 2nd amendment has nothing to do with hunting". The 2nd amendment was created to make it as hard as possible for our government to become a tyranny. This scares some people but it is a fact.

If BHO gets elected I look for an attack on semi automatic firearms. Probably some kind of registration scheme. This cannot be done without Remington 1100's, 1187's etc, being on the list. Another BS asault weapons ban is pretty much certain.

I hope i am misunderstanding you but i get a feeling that you have the same elitist attitude as your lead donkey. I surely hope you are not in the law enforcement field because one could certainly reason that if obama was elected, you would be one of the first to sell out to the next Gestapo.
