I seen a deal where these wildlife biologist were tracking snakes using a electronic tracking divice of some kind. They said that snakes spend allot of time in trees. I did'nt know that. I mean up in the tops of big trees. They said it was thought for along time that certain snakes such as rattle snakes could not climb trees because that the blood would not circulate through its brain while climbing up the tree. But they showed one climbing a tree and it would climb a little ways and lower its body so that its head would be lower than the rest of its body allowing the blood to flow. Then it would climb a little higher.

Over the years I've seen snakes in my tree in early bow season and ever found one on the seat of my ladder stand when I went up in the afternoon. I've also had snakes drop off tree limbs while fishing, I ever had two of them fall into my boat at different times. I saw far more of that down in Miss-Tn than Ky.

Snakes can't climb trees. They don't have any legs.

Great I appreciate that. Now as I look forward to early bow season I'll be thinking about that!
