In my hunting area, we seem to have had a above average hatch. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed it in their area. We hunt Washington and Marion county. My hunting buddy had two flocks of around 50 birds each pass by while he was on the stand last night. I am definitely excited about the numbers.

This is the most turkeys ive seen in years in Scott co. and we were litterally falling over turkeys in Bretthitt co. last week. I'm seeing well over 20 in each group each place I go. Cant wait till fall gun, just about a month.

I have to agree the hatch in my area is the best that I have ever seen.

Here in east KY we had a great hatch and survival. I was commenting to a friend last week who works for KDFWR as a biologist about the hatch and he pointed out that a lot of this could be contributed to the Cicadas. I'd never really thought of that but it's true. ALL of the wildlife greatly benefited from them I suspect.
