Even though I've never heard him say anything positive about hunting or fishing, there's nothing negative about hunting or fishing in this article--or any reference for that matter. In fact, other than the two names being mentioned in the same article, there's nothing even connecting them together.

Kind of what I was thinking. The HSUS is a bunch of whack jobs, but I don't see anything in this particular article to make me think this dude has taken a stand.

He hired an animal control director based on their recommendations and then allowed the HSUS to sculpt the animal control laws for Louisville.

In fact the HSUS was so envolved with the law, with the blessing of the mayor I might add, they filed an Amicus Brief on behalf of the city of Louisville claiming as much......

That may all be true (and I believe you) but that article has nothing to do with it. It doesn't even link him with HSUS. I am not an Abrahmson fan, but this article was not linking him so not sure what that was about. :confused:

I told you folks three years ago the HSUS had a toe hold right here in Louisville and you didnt think it was a big deal......

Well lets see what comes from the HSUS in the next legislative session.....
