Have never hunted fall birds.What set up do you guys like best?Will be hunting woods with small openings around ponds.

If you know the birds are going to be there, the best thing to do is just sit and wait on them. There really isn't any need for calling if this is the case, but if not, try some soft purs and yelps about every 15 minutes...immitates birds feeding and can produce some awesome results

Also, you can try and learn the kee-kee (fall call). Ive called in a many'a fall birds to the end of my barrel with it.

I never had any luck....You guys talk about the fall call....kee-kee call....
Tried it with a pro-caller and it looks like it was scaring the turkeys away...
