I saw Bruce in Nashville last night. Great show, he played for a full 3 hours. They played alot of the old stuff, with a few new songs mixed in. The guy has amazing energy.

You are the second 40 something year old that I know of who went to this last night.

It would be worth the price of admission just to see him sing The Ghost of Tom Joad. Love that song.

Mike, how much time did he spend telling the audience what a crappy country this is and how Obama will save us all?

I wasn't trying to diss Mike over this. I'm glad he enjoyed the show. I've just been hearing some folks on Sirius Patriot talk about him talking a lot of left-wing crap at his shows. Some of them had even walked out of the shows and demanded refunds.

That was another thing that made the concert so awesome. Never a political word or statement the entire night.

Springsteen is on a list of mine. It's called the list of people who are very talented, that I have great respect for as a performer BUT need to keep their opinions to themselves when it comes to politics. Also on this list are Tim Robbins, Sean Penn, and Green Day. I did not get a kick out of Springsteen performing at the John Kerry fundraiser back in 04, but I was happy to see it fail in its intent.

I am glad there was no politics involved. Growing up my older brother was a huge fan and I grew to like his music as well but I just could not fathom spending money to here a multi millionaire tell me how horrible it is to be a Republican.
