Man, I hate this town!
I'm sitting in my office at 7:00am when my phone rings. It's one of my employees calling in sick, seems he got shot in the leg last night. From what I understand he stopped at a convience store last night to get a pack of cigarettes when some joker decided to do a little carjacking. During the 'conversation' my guy got popped. Dang thugs!
I told him that he ought to stop smoking!

Glad he's ok. Will that qualify for worker's comp? :)

It could happen at any place at any time. Glad he's ok. We've got to keep our guard up at all times these days.

Honestly, I am suprised UPS, Fed Ex drivers dont end up robbed all the time. I have heard of people following the trucks and stealing packages left for people, but never heard of drivers being robbed. Hope it doesn't happen to you Art, but seems to me it would be a fairly easy target for thieves.

I wish I could! But we've got to build the retirement fund. Sandi has 9-10 years before she can get full teacher's retirement & I am not counting on myself getting any social security $ so I'm buildiing my 401K. Looks like we're going to be here for a while longer....
