What do you use? I have some Brunton Eternas 10x42 and they are really nice. I was going to sell them but I took them outside today and placed my McKensie bedded buck in a shaded area and could see the scoring rings out to my maximum range very well. After that I decided to keep them. They are a little heavy but very clear and gather a lot of light.

So, what do you use?

No, seriously, I was aiming there!

Pinwheel if you are thinking of shooting 3d with them you might want to consider if the shoot is following IBO rules or not. IBO rules "C. Cameras or range finding devices are not allowed on any of the shooting ranges regardless of use. Binoculars (hand held) will be allowed with a maximum of 8X magnification per manufacturers specification "
Would hate to think you went to a shoot and was disqualified due to equipment.

Yea, I know, IBO is OK, but I shoot ASA primarily. If I do shoot any IBO it is state only and I can borrow my brothers Alpen 8x42.

i have a pair of brunton 8X40. ive had them about 7 years, and am thinking of getting a new pair, but in good light i can see very well, and even most low light conditions. i lookes at some kahles that a buddy of mine has, every bit as good as swarovski, and half the cost. we did a comparison with the swarovski during deer season, and could see equally as well with both pair until way past legal shooting hours. the bruntons held up well, but could not see definition after legal shooting hours......

as for use in 3d, what you have are just fine....anything out to 45 yards should be a sure thing with them.
