If Toyota has found 50 extra horses they should get to run em. I hate the new CASHCAR racing. I don't know why they even bother putting a emblem on the front of em anymore. They are all the same except the engines and now everyone is crying when one manufacturer is getting more HP. Mills do you think that HOF motorsports gets the same amount of Hp out of his cars as one built at the Hendrick stable? Is that fair?

I don't follow Nascar that well, but I thought all the cars were supposed to be even...But since Toyota couldn't compete last year at all...Nascar allowed them to soup up their engines for an extra 50HP.... Now that extra HP is almost too much to catch...Cause it's sure not Kyle Busch's racing performance that is winning the races...If it was HMS wouldn't have let him go..........

Nascar is only worried about the money the fans generate..Nothing else..thats why they step in..They are afraid that if one team dominates too much they will lose fans from the lsoing teams..Moeny,money....money;)

They had it stuck under the throttle pedal. So it was only going to open about 85-90%.

My understanding is what BH08 said. They stuck it under the pedal after the race to limit pedal travel during dyno. Accelerator won't go all the way to the floor with the "spacer" in the way, so the fuel going to the engine isn't maximized.

I used to like nascar but now I can't even watch it five minutes. It's just so boring! Seems like the drivers all have these attitudes but I guess maybe there supposed to or something I don't know. Another thing that turned me had to do with Dale Sr. Not long after his death there was a documentary about his life. It talked about how, when he was married to Dale Jr.'s mother, he'd use all the family's money to race on weekends and they'd have to get food from neighbors. That really made me think much less of him, that he would do his family that way.

I completly understand why they did it. What I don't understand is how they thought they could get away with it. Did they think Nascar would not notice that the motor would only turn 6500 RPM?
