Sounds more like a repositioning and a test to see of the Iraqians can handle the city policing to me.

In Washington, White House spokeswoman Dana Perino said talks with the Iraqis were ongoing and “we are trying to bring the agreement to a close. It is not done yet.”

I look at it as a start at the least. With the money the USA has sunk into bases there there most likely be a US military presents for many years to come but maybe the majority of the fighting can be handled without the US military being so involved....and thats a good thing IMO.

The ones they pull out of Iraq will for the most part just go to Afganistan if things are not under control there at that time.

Alright, something we can agree on! Looks like a good start. The sooner they can take over the better.
