I am a non-resident(WI) and I am interested in joining cyber hunters
I make an annual trip or two to the LBL and really enjoy the site! I know that non-resident is a dirty word in most places so I would understand if you have reservations . Just wanted to know Thanks!

Let me be the first to welcome you to KY. We not only pride ourselves on our great hunting but I believe the people of KY to be the friendliest folks you'll ever meet. KY is a wonderful place to live & I hope you enjoy your visits here. Look me up the next time you visit - I only live 15 minutes from LBL.

RLB I hunt about 30 miles from what they are calling the management zone which basically means shoot as many as you want during regular seasons. The eradication zone is a litle further south of me. It makes for alot of heated debate around here. They want you to shoot as many as possible but the food pantries won't take the meat anymore. Some of the big questions we have is what are we going to do with the deer we shoot! Some of the processors are not even going to take them. We have many concerns, they are saying that already liscence sales are down by 30%.

Welcome to Kentucky and especially we would welcome you to Cyberhunters! I fear we may need some "hands on" input from someone who is near the CWD war. I fear we are not far behind!

Thanks all for the hardy welcome!

CWD is truly scary thing for hunting as we know it. It puts the hunter in an ugly light, eradication, open season are all scenarios that the anti-hunters are really feeding upon and no one has the answers. Seems to me that 30 years ago instead of ignorance to Colorado we all should have the invesed more time and money into finding the source.
I believe that CWD has been here for a long time and that it is probably everywhere. Minnesota said they don't have it and the next breath they said we have only tested 50 deer in the last two years HMMM!
The best thing that we can do as hunters is be patient and do what we do best and that is to support the sport of hunting and our nations wildlife because no one else will!
