I have a used 835 and the choke tube thats in it is not marked in anyway. I trust the guys word i got it from-on the full choke thats in it. but how can I tell for sure?

You can check it with a dime (.10). A dime will not fit into a full choke. It will fit into a mod choke with very little play, and into an imp. cyl. choke with a lot of play.

I've gotten to where I can guess pretty well seeing how well my finger fits:cool::)

The 835 has an over-bored barrel. The bore diameter is larger than a standard 12 ga and the choke tube diameter will be correspondingly larger too.
Here are the approximate dimensions (ID) of the 835 tubes as measured at the muzzle:

Modified .743
Imp.Mod. .735
Full .727
