i got me a remington model 700 bdl in 300 win mag, i put a nikon 3-9-40 scope and im shooting 180 grain soft points, i shot it one time before i had to go to work and i like it, im hopein it should be a great deer rifle

i won a 700 SPS in 300 win mag at an elk banquet last year. it's a nice gun. actually has less recoil than my old .270.

Might want to look into a Limb Saver recoil pad, I got one on my 7mm and it helped a ton.
