Have a new CZ 452 put a Leupold 2-7 VX II on it and have maxed out on my upward adjustment and it is still about 1/2 inch low at 25 yards. Any suggestions? I am thinking I might try to take every thing loose and remount it.

It started out about 6 inches low and 4 inches right. The point of impact did move as I made adjustments until I ran out on the upward adjustment. Point of impact is consistent, cover a 5 shot group with a dime.

might try lower rings.

go to a gunsmith and have him shim the scope or you could do it if you can find the materials, good luck

Yep, that might do it. If not, go ahead and cut a shim out of an aluminum soda (or beer!) can and put that under the scope in the correct ring (I think that would be the front if you ran out of up)

Actully it would be the rear ring. If under the front ring, the scope would be angled up and would lower the point of impact.

I agree with lower rings, though I have shimmed them in the past with good success.

I had one that shot way to the right. A set of Millet angle loc rings solved the problem.

try to switch the rings, front to back. or try another set of rings. i traded for a 22 mag. last year that did the same thing. rings were no good, bought new rings, solved problem.

Check that back ring for a ridge or burr. You can also lap the ring with a dowel and sandpaper. If that does not correct the issue new rings would be in order. Also Make sure the rings are indentical in height, not a mispair.
