Anybody got'em pegged for Sept. 6? My dad said a group has been visiting my lab-lab plot every morning and a couple of longbeards here and there around 10:00am. I hope they show up on opening morning I'd love to get one with a bow.

I will let an arrow fly if given the chance! Only saw three the whole season last year and that would have been a 50 yr shot-----> too far for me!

I will shoot the 1st tom that walks by my stand. That also goes for any yotes that I see. I've killed 3 yotes so far and 2 turkeys with my bow in past GA hunting seasons. GA only has a spring turkey season.

killed both my spring birds with my bow it was a short season hunted 4 days. ill be after a few hens we have way to many turkeys on our place ill let the long beards go till spring when i can call them in spittin and drumming.

The arrows will definately fly if I get one close enough. I love those birds.

We're thick with turkeys on our place. I know where they roost and we moved a ladder stand about 50 yards away just in the woods near some standing corn. First turkey I see will hopefully get an education. That goes with any coyote. Looking forward to the season. Good luck all

Do you mean bowhunting turkeys only, or simply flinging an arrow while deer hunting? I will start out turkey hunting only because my deer huntin spot has been leveled!

Either or, I will be deer hunting 1st with the intension on shooting a turkey if given an opportunity. If deer are slow and I have a group of birds pegged I will definitely go after them exclusive. But all and all I just like to shoot stuff.:D

I will be set up opening day with bow and turkey calls in hand. Best of luck to everyone this fall.
