I'll second that. Haha...I went to one in Evansville a couple weeks ago and only about 1/4 seemed qualified, even my fiance said that. Now Showme's in Evansville is a different story:D

Former Hooters waitress settles toy Yoda suit

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (AP) — A former waitress has settled her lawsuit against Hooters, the restaurant that gave her a toy Yoda doll instead of the Toyota she thought she had won.

Jodee Berry, 27, won a beer sales contest last May at the Panama City Beach Hooters. She believed she had won a new Toyota and happily was escorted to the restaurant's parking lot in a blindfold.

But when the blindfold was removed, she found she had won a new toy Yoda — the little green character from the Star Wars movies.

David Noll, her attorney, said Wednesday that he could not disclose the settlement's details, although he said Berry can now go to a local car dealership and "pick out whatever type of Toyota she wants."

After the stunt, Berry quit the restaurant and filed a lawsuit against Gulf Coast Wings, the restaurant's corporate owner, alleging breach of contract and fraudulent misrepresentation.

The restaurant's manager, Jared Blair, has said the whole contest was an April Fools' joke.

I didn't spend much time inside the Hooters in P.C. the last time I was down there.

The beach behind it had 100 x's better scenery walking up and down it.

Does anyone actually like the food at any Hooter's restaurant? I can think of at least a dozen other places that have better wings.

The scenery has been less than satisfactory the last couple of times that I have stepped foot inside one of their places. The last time that I went (about 3 years ago) I said that it would be my last.

The first and only time I went to a Hooters it was in Louisville, and I got their new cajun wings... the first 2 or 3 were great, but they were absolutely caked in cajun salt... probably 500,000 milligrams of sodium each. Made my stomach hurt, had to stop after 6 or so.

I haven't been to Hooters in years. IMO, the food is overpriced and the guys who go there to check out the chicks are chumps. They wouldn't give you the time of day outside the restaurant. Of course I'm talkin about 25+ year old men. When you're young, you should absolutely hang out anywhere there are scantily clad women who will give you attention, even if you have to buy it.:eek:

I agree with the bad food posts....it wouldn't take much to improve the menu. But, you know, most of the hooter's upper management were killed in an airplane crash years ago, if I remember correctly.

Hooters has definatly went downhill, no thanks to the chic that sued for discrimination. Besides, the "gifted" ones can make more money takin it off than selling beer for tips to middle aged men. and yes thier food sucks

FINALLY something I know!!! I HATE THAT PLACE!!!

Worked there for 11 years!!! Finally got away July 3 '07. Moved down the street to another wing joint that same week and haven't looked back.

As for the Toy Yoda thing. Yeah, she got paid!!!
