how hard is it to tune the three blade muzzy..........i have been using the three blade 75gr. mini blaster and was going to change to the muzzy and was told they are difficult to tune in so i did not purchase......i found that when you need to change the blades in a mini, they take some time to change due to the mini screws that they use and when you have missed a shot all the dirt ect. fills the head of the screw.........they even give you a special screw driver with the heads and i have broken the tip off of that........this is a bad question to ask so late to the new deer season and i may not change but it will be some info i can put into my plans for next year.....
the reason i ask this is because i have seen the muzzy in use and seen guys pick them up after a miss ; knock off the dirt and put back in the quiver and the blade still or just about as sharp as before they shot while with the mini....each shot hit or miss you change the blades.............ez

125 THUNDERHEAD, You can't beat them. I'am still using the same ones I've had for three years and have taken up to four deer with the same broadhead. I just sharpen or replace the blades when needed. As for knock down power, I've not found any that will match the 125 gr.

I actually read an article somewhere about an old-timer that killed a small buck with a home-made spear. That's what I call an early-style weapon. I'll try to see if I can dig up the article somewhere and post it here.

Thunderhead 85. Thinking of switching to the NAP Spitfire 85 grain mechanical. Anybody shoot these. How true to field points?

I shoot 100 gr Muzzys on 28-1/2" 2315 Supper Slams W/4" vains from my 70lb Parker Ultra-Lite. Fly great and hit almost where my field pnts hit.
Magnus 125gr. 2bld heads on 29-1/2" 2018 xx75 Classics W/4" feathers from my 67lb Bob Lee Sig. recurve.

Ceohunter, I can vouch for the Spitfires. They fly as true as field points and the best part of all, NO DANG O-RINGS!!! The blades are held in place using a cam type setup.

I use a 75 gr. rocky mountain premier. I have shot thru deer and had to dig them out of trees, only to find them still straight
My dad shot a doe last year with one that was quartering away, and after taking out both lungs, it broke the opposite shoulder b4 exiting the deer. they also make a 90 gr. i think, and i am sure it is just as tough.
