Well folks I just got off the phone with Roy Grimes. He was unaware that the Auxier Flats issue has come up again. He said he would much prefer that it remain a WMA and would do what they could to help but the final word rests with Corp and Tourism Board as well as some local politicians. This we already knew but now the Dept. is aware of this situation.
He thanked me for calling and is very excited about our organization and appreciates what we are trying to do.
The issue about the Dept. website is as follows: Sometime in October they are going to totally redo the site and have a Commisioners button. This will allow us to click on and get all of the info that is available.
The issue of getting the Commisioners meeting dates moved to Saturdays will be on the Dec. agenda and will be discussed by the commisioners.
Once again Roy Grimes has been very receptive and appreciative of our mission to better inform everyone and has co-operated with me in the fullest.
We have proven that an organization of folks who are dedicated, responsible , civil and willing to see both sides of the coin will be appreciated and taken serious.
Your ten bucks is hard at work and I thank eveyone for their help, patience and co-operation.
Rick.
