Make sure you look at the quota hunt dates because if your not drawn, I don't think you can hunt it during those times. As far as other info, go to

There are deer (and I mean plenty) there, I bet some of the big ones even die of old age. It seems that many are near nocturnal. I have gotten a glimpse of a few big bucks but only right at dark. Many locals are quite successful (except for me), but I have yet to seal the deal. I've killed a few turkey with shotgun and bow there, but not a deer. It's a mixture of some croplands, fields, and lots of woods. There's plenty of campgrounds and you can go backcountry camping with a permit, you'll also need a hunting permit as well.
