Does anyone have any experience with these firearms? I currently have a Rossi single for one of my daughters and its time to pick up another rifle for daughter #2. I have no complaints with the Rossi other than barrel upgrading and from what I can see the CVA barrels are interchangeable without having to send the receiver back to the manufacture to have a barrel fitted. Any feedback will be appreciated.

Thanks for the info. There for awhile I thought no one had tried these, which surprising at the price they are wanting. How does the 22-250 shoot? Is it remotely accurate?

it's a fine fine choice. The paint job they give the plasti-lumber on them is a little questionable...almost a marble thing they're going for. But really if you're looking for a hunting gun who gives a rip whether or not it happens to match your kitchen countertop.

As far as accuracy goes, I've been impressed with all of CVA's latest offerings. They use Bergara barrels and don't cost near what the Jewell Encrusted T/C's do...and the difference in accuracy is up for debate. Both makers are turning out guns that will outshoot 98% of shooters. (Except the encore muzzleloader...seems pretty finicky. But when you get one tuned in they're great too).

CVA kicks arse at a reasonable price. Go for it.

I've got the 209 magnum muzzleloader that looks identicle with the only complaint being the awful trigger. It creeps and jerks like a dump truck gear shift, however I have got a decent load for accuracy worked out so I am fairly satisfied. I have been looking at the Savages but the cost is keeping that a ways off.

I will look at one of these in 7mm08 or 243 for my son. I like the idea of the single break open action for simplicity and safety for him and, hey, if I'm too cheap to get a TC for myself I'm sure not going to get one for a kid who is still learning. From what I've heard the bergara barrels are pretty good so I wouldnt worry about accuracy.

Has anyone handled one that can give some input on the trigger? I was told by one amateur gunsmith that there isnt anything that can be done with them.

Real accurate with reloads and mine has a 26 inch bull barrel 2 so that helps.. I'm going to get the 7mm08 to
