Bow Season

One question,one vent, why the later start for bow season? My vacation is scheduled in december each year. And why don"t we change the gun season after everone has scheduled their vacation so they can waste a week. Don"t think so,catch to much grief. My whole meaning is why does"nt bow season come in the same time every year the same as gun season.:mad:

Since the 2003 season Archery season has came in on the first Saturday of September.

Opening day for each license year:
1999: September 18, 1999
2000: September 16, 2000
2001: September 15, 2001
2002: September 21, 2002
2003: September 6, 2003
2004: September 4, 2004
2005: September 3, 2005
2006: September 2, 2006
2007: September 1, 2007
2008: September 6, 2008

i guess im old school. wish they would still wait till oct 1 before opening bow. just seemed a lot beeter to me. way cooler to.

Simply don't go until its cooler. Alot of bowhunters appreciate the early start;)
