Its like most areas of South Central Kentucky. You have little agriculture land and mostly hard woods, ridge tops, and pasture land. There are good #'s of deer in certain areas and it has produced a few B&C deer so the potential for a trophy is there. Not much public land and what there is is usually hit pretty hard by locals. If you were a little more specific about the area I could possibly give you a better idea of what the hunting would be like.

I hunt about 4 miles west of Delta. They are some nice deer were I hunt but last year I only seen one deer during gun season. But I found 6 dead scouting before season it was hit hard by EHD or what ever it was. I not had a chance to get back down there since deer season.

Pretty good hunting for these parts. Not the easiest hunting in the world because of the terrain but I think you will like it if you put some time into patterning the deer. Your best bet would be drive around late in the evening and glass some fields. I think you might like what you find. Usually several brutes running around out there before season starts.
