If you mean during deer season. just leave it in a cooler place. Don't take it out of a hot house to the cool air! other than that don't know what to tell ya.

If it fogs on the inside go buy a new scope. Any decent scope these days in nitrogen filled to prevent that. If you have a decent scope with a warranty it needs to go back to the manufacturer.

The scope is on my muzzleloader so i dont take it in .I can hold my thumb on the eye lens and that helps most of the time.Just thought maybe there was a easy remedy to fix the problem.

Sounds like the scope may be defective if it is on the inside. If it is on the outside you rub a thin coat of shave cream on the lens and that will help.

Just take it apart.....it's junk anyway if it's fogging up on the inside.

Sounds like one of the seals are leaking letting in moisture like they said new optics are mainly nitrogen filled and sealed. So ditch it and buy a Leupold.
