Can't speak for everywhere in Kentucky, but I swear it rains 9 out of 10 years on the 4th of July here in Northern Ky.Most years we can't have a decent cookout and are lucky to catch a break and shoot fireworks off late evening.
Guess if it ever dries up around here I wouldn't be here making contrary posts.

We've had good rains pretty weekly here, haven't had to water anything this year, hard to keep up with the mowing,Plenty of hay,but compared to last years drought it's a Godsend.
It rained most of last night and all morning here. The sun is trying to poke through now, but I'd say as it heats up we'll get wet before too long.

Like treerat said, send it this way. I think it has sprinkled twice in the last month and a half. Not even enough to make the dirt look wet afterwards.

Rain off and on here today. I'm stuck at work though so it doesn't really affect me.

It's rained here for the last three days off and on and some of it's been hard! Gravel all washed down the dang driveway! Hope you others get some soon!

Say what you may, I was lucky being off today, working and pitling around the showers but ani't going to hear me fuss, wouldn't bother me if it rained all day in my area we need some rain. Got a cook out we're heading out to guess they'll be grilling in the garage.

I'm kind of glad it rained. There's less of a chance for me to burn something down! :D

Were 14 inches over here in Henderson. Rained pretty good around daylight, but real nice the rest of the day.
